The SDR Team Lead will have the opportunity to build our inside sales team and be the player-coach that assists our sales team with the initial prospecting duties of the sales cycle and coaches our existing SDR team. SDRs will prospect from a book of business seeking to identify the appropriate decision maker within the company, educate them on our product when applicable, and introduce them to their Account Executive (AE). As Idle Smart continues to grow, the SDR function will be critical to our success and this candidate will work directly with our Head of Sales to ensure growth targets are achieved.

  • You can effectively use a CRM to track and monitor leads, dashboard reports and call lists.

  • You are proactive. You have a can-do attitude and ability to work and motivate yourself independently while also working collaboratively across the team.

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Proven SaaS sales development experience; knowledge of trucking industry helpful: 1-2 years

  • Ability to consistently prospect a high volume of accounts per day

  • Lead qualification and objection handling

  • Effective time and sales pipeline management

  • Entrepreneurial. Must be resourceful and thrive in a laid back but fast paced, constantly changing environment

  • Intense curiosity and comfort with ambiguity
